J&G has bayonets for a low price ($30), but I've heard that the proper one for the Stutzens is the one with the tall sight on top of the ring, which I haven't seen (although I'm sure they pop up on gunbroker). I also like the nifty side mounted sling loops so you can put your 2-point vtac sling on it or whatever to make it very anachronistic. That's the one thing, you gotta go find a bayonet for this carbine. They are very light and surprisingly handy, almost feels like my 10/22, but with a bayonet lug. Barrel looks nice as far as I can tell, it is not counterbored, and the grooves/lands look solid. I can not confirm his statements since I have not shot it myself. The cal-gunner I bought it from told me that it was head spaced and shot just fine. It has matching barrel and receiver, but the bolt is force matched.
